At Tech And Trade Products And Services Limited, we want customers to have a clear understanding of their rights when purchasing products  through our website.

This Return & Refund Policy explains our general approach to:

  • Online product returns

  • Order cancellations

  • Faulty products

  • Refunds

  • Wholesale and business purchases

This policy does not restrict any statutory rights available to consumers under Irish or EU law.

1. Contact Details

Returns, cancellation requests and refund enquiries should be sent to:

Tech And Trade Products And Services Limited
142 Capel Street
Dublin 1
D01 WV30
Ireland

Email: info@ttpsdublin.com

When contacting us, please include where applicable:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Product purchased

  • Purchase date

  • Reason for contacting us

  • Photographs of damage or faults, where relevant

2. Online Consumer Purchases — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you are purchasing as a consumer through our website, you will generally have the right to cancel most eligible online purchases without giving a reason.

For most goods, the cancellation period is 14 days from the date you receive the goods.

You must notify us of your decision to cancel within this 14-day period.

After informing us that you wish to cancel, you will generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Different rules may apply where statutory exceptions apply.

3. How to Cancel an Eligible Online Order

To exercise your right to cancel, send a clear statement to:

info@ttpsdublin.com

Your message should preferably include:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • Order date

  • Product concerned

  • A clear statement that you wish to cancel the contract

You do not need to provide a reason when exercising a statutory cancellation right.

4. Returning Goods After Cancellation

Unless otherwise agreed, products being returned following a change-of-mind cancellation should be:

  • Returned within the applicable return period

  • Reasonably protected during transport

  • Complete with included accessories and components where applicable

You may inspect goods in the same way that you could reasonably inspect them in a physical shop.

If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.

5. Return Shipping Costs

For a standard change-of-mind return, the customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this has been properly communicated and where applicable law permits it.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the contract, different rules may apply and reasonable return costs may be our responsibility.

Please contact us before returning a faulty or incorrect item so we can provide appropriate instructions.

6. Refunds for Cancelled Online Orders

Where you validly cancel an eligible online purchase, we will process the refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where applicable, refunds may include:

  • The price paid for the goods; and

  • The cost of standard delivery originally paid, where legally required.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option, we are generally not required to refund the additional premium delivery cost beyond the cost of standard delivery.

Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is agreed.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold reimbursement until:

  • We have received the returned goods; or

  • You provide satisfactory evidence that you have returned them,

whichever occurs first.

7. Exceptions to Change-of-Mind Returns

The statutory cooling-off right does not apply in every situation.

Depending on applicable law and the product concerned, exceptions may include certain:

  • Personalised or custom-made products

  • Sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons after being unsealed

  • Goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly

  • Sealed audio, video or software products once unsealed

  • Digital content supplied immediately with the customer’s prior consent and acknowledgement where applicable

  • Services fully performed following the customer’s prior request and acknowledgement, where permitted by law

These exceptions do not remove your statutory rights where a product is faulty or not as described.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Products

If you receive a product that is:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged

  • Not as described

  • Incorrect

  • Not of the quality required by applicable law

please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Consumers have statutory remedies under Irish consumer law.

Depending on the nature and timing of the problem, you may be entitled to a remedy such as:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Price reduction

  • Refund

Where a fault arises within the applicable statutory period, your legal rights apply independently of any manufacturer’s guarantee or commercial warranty.

9. Damage During Delivery

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please notify us promptly.

Where possible, please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Photographs of the outer packaging

  • Photographs of the damaged product

  • A description of the damage

This information can help us investigate the issue with the delivery provider and arrange the appropriate remedy.

10. Incorrect Product Received

If we send you a product different from the one ordered, contact us at:

info@ttpsdublin.com

We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate solution.

You should not be required to bear reasonable return costs resulting from an error on our part.

11. Products That Have Been Used

Change-of-mind returns should not involve use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product.

Where a returned item has been used, damaged or handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining it in a physical shop, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value where legally permitted.

This does not apply in a way that removes your rights in relation to faulty goods.

12. Exchanges

Where available, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund.

Exchanges are subject to:

  • Product availability

  • Applicable statutory rights

  • Any price difference

You are not required to accept an exchange where applicable consumer law gives you the right to another remedy.

13. Wholesale, Reseller and Business Purchases

Purchases made primarily for commercial, resale or business purposes are generally treated differently from consumer purchases.

Wholesale and business orders may be subject to separate terms covering:

  • Returns

  • Minimum quantities

  • Restocking

  • Damaged goods

  • Delivery

  • Payment terms

  • Order cancellation

The statutory consumer cooling-off period does not generally apply to transactions entered into wholly for business purposes.

Any applicable wholesale return arrangements should be confirmed before ordering.

14. Non-Delivery

If your order has not arrived within the agreed delivery timeframe, please contact us.

Consumer rights regarding delayed or non-delivered goods will be respected in accordance with applicable Irish law.

15. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may be supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty.

Any manufacturer’s warranty is additional to, and does not replace, your statutory consumer rights.

Warranty claims may require:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Product serial number

  • Description of the issue

  • Compliance with the manufacturer’s warranty conditions

16. Processing Refunds

Once a refund has been approved, it will generally be issued using the original method of payment unless another method is agreed.

The time required for a refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

17. Proof of Purchase

We may ask for reasonable proof of purchase when processing a return, refund, repair or replacement.

Acceptable evidence may include:

  • Order confirmation

  • Invoice

  • Receipt

  • Transaction reference

18. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits, excludes or replaces rights available to consumers under applicable Irish or EU consumer law.

Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory statutory right, the statutory right will apply.
